Our Taiwan tour begins with a visit to the Martyrs Shrine built as a memorial to the people who sacrificed their lives fighting for their nation. We then roll over to the National Palace Museum containing one of the world’s four largest collections of Chinese arts and treasures. After lunch, we travel to the Ta Shee Blooming Oasis reputed for their beautiful fields of seasonal flowers similar to Hokkaido. Dinner at Tai Chung’s local restaurant. Enjoy a great night shopping experience at Fong-Jia night market after dinner. Lunch: Ta Shee Steamboat / Dinner: Taiwanese Cuisine. Hotel: Taichung Royal Hotel or similar |

| Day 4. Tai Chung - Sun Moon Lake (B/L/D) |

Puli Town is located in Tai Chung and famous for its natural beauty such as pristine mountain area and ideal climate. Explore the architectural beauty of the Chung Tai Chan Monastery, a place where it displays a rich collection of Buddhism literature and artifacts. Our next stop is the Formosan Aboriginal Cultural Village, which was a multifaceted park established in 1986 to both preserve and teach about Taiwan’s aboriginal heritage and provide a spacious venue for leisure. The Village features aboriginal villages, an European Garden, and Amusement Isle. Both services and facilities have won numerous honors for the Village including the “Top Taiwan theme park”. | Day 5. Sun Moon Lake - Taipei (B/L/D) |

An early morning start to the Wen Wu Temple situated at the North mountainside of the Sun Moon Lake. The temple is constructed in memorial to General Kuan Yu, Confucius, and General Yueh Fei. Appreciate the copper-made statues of various divinities and enjoy the beautiful scenery of the entire Sun Moon Lake followed by local Taiwanese cuisine. We then travel to the mountainous region and visit a giant Buddha statue on the Bagua Hill. Mount Bagua is a scenic area most famous for its 22-metre tall Buddha statue built of steel bars and cement. Return to Taipei for an exciting night shopping experience at Ximending. The National Taiwan Democracy Memorial Hall was built in memory of President Chiang Kai-shek. Located at the heart of Taipei City, the building is constructed primarily with white marble and the roofs are decorated with deep-blue glass as part of the reflection of blue sky and bright sun. We then visit the Sanshia Tzushr Temple, one of the most intricately carved building, which was constructed based on the traditional Chinese architectural method. Enjoy the very tasty steamed dumplings for lunch and gain a deeper understanding of Taiwan’s customs and culture from the exquisite ceramic art displayed at the Yingge Ceramics Museum.
